The Fiber Loft (retail) and Bare Hill Studios (mail order) is enjoying over 30 years as a full service, knitting, spinning, and weaving shop. We began as a small studio of approximately 600 sq. ft., and have expanded over the years to 2,000 sq. ft. The retail shop has an extensive selection of gorgeous yarn representative of most of the small and large manufacturers. These are also available by mail order.

The staff consists of accomplished fiber artists who can assist you with any of your knitting, weaving, or spinning questions at the shop or by mail, phone, or email. We supply our customers with a broad range of services, such as ongoing knitting clubs, classes, and specialty workshops for both children and adults.

Customers are often inspired by the finished items available for sale in our gallery. We specialize in hand-woven, hand painted chenille shawls and scarves. Custom orders are always welcome.

We are located at 9 Massachusetts Avenue (Rte. 111), in the Old Post Office building just a short walk from the town common in Harvard, Massachusetts. Harvard Massachusetts is easily accessible by either Route 2 or 495.

As the original owner, I have witnessed the many trends in the fiber industry and I am enthusiastic about the resurgence of the fiber arts.
